Hospital credentialing boards perform extensive background checks and will not allow unqualified physicians to have admitting or operating privileges in their facilities. A well qualified surgeon should always have hospital privileges to perform the specific facial plastic procedure(s) in which are you are interested, even though the procedure may be performed in an office setting.
